I painted an energetic portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, created especially with Her in mind. It was my heartfelt wish to present this painting as a gift to the Queen. Unfortunately, I received a kind response from the Royal House informing me that this is not possible. Nevertheless, it is my sincere hope that Her Majesty might one day see the portrait, which was painted with great admiration and respect. I send Her Majesty my warmest wishes and all the most beautiful things in life.
