Spring: This spring, as everything was awakening back to life, I found myself especially drawn to plants. It felt as though they were calling to me more than ever before, as if they were trying to greet me. Mesmerized by this vibrant green life force, unfurling its leaves more abundantly with each passing day, I realized there was only one thing to do: surrender to it and paint flourishing greenery. Empathy: Following the idea of healing the world through art, I asked my husband what he would most like to see healed on our planet. He replied that it is the lack of empathy – because if we could all truly feel what another person feels, we wouldn’t choose to hurt others or act out of selfishness.
